Terms of Service

Guildspace is a service provided by Substance Lab ("we"/"us"/"Substance Lab"). Your use of the guildspace.net website (the "Service") in whole or in part constitutes your binding acceptance of the following terms and conditions ("Terms").

Substance Lab may change any part of the Terms or the Service itself without notice. Your continued use of the Service after any such change implies your consent to such changes.

Basic terms

  1. You must be human or at least humanoid. Automated registration and access is not allowed.
  2. Your account is personal and may only be used by yourself and you alone. It may not be shared.
  3. You are responsible for any activity that occurs on your account.
  4. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and safe.
  5. Any content published on the Service may be linked to and/or used by Substance Lab for promotional purposes. It may also be indexed and archived by third party services.
  6. Your use of the Service must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction. You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  7. One person or legal entity may only maintain one free account.

Violation of these agreements may result in the termination of your account. While Substance Lab prohibits such behaviour, you understand and agree that Subtance Lab cannot be held liable if you are exposed to such conduct or content.

Payment, upgrading, downgrading, cancellation, and termination

  1. The Service is billed in advance on a monthly basis and is non-refundable. There will be no rebates or credits for partial months of service or for months unused with an open account.
  2. When upgrading or downgrading your subscription, you will be charged the new rate on your next billing cycle.
  3. You are solely responsible for properly cancelling your account. Only valid means of cancellation is using the online cancellation process on your Guildspace website.
  4. All of your content will be immediatly deleted from the Service on cancellation and cannot be restored.
  5. Cancelling your account takes effect immediatly, but you will not be charged again after the currently paid for month.
  6. Substance Lab reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Such termination may result in loss of content, and access to the Service. Terminations occuring before the end of the currently paid for month will not result in refunds.

Modifications to the Service

  1. Substance Lab may alter, suspend, disable, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.
  2. All prices (including but not limited to subscription fees) of the Service are subject to change with 30 days prior notice from us. Such notice may take place at any time by posting to any part of the Service or related services.
  3. Substance Lab is not liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, disruption, or suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Copyright and content ownership

  1. Any content you submit to the Service remains your intellectual property. By submitting content you understand and agree that your content may be viewed and accessed by third parties.

General conditions

  1. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You use the Service at your own risk.
  2. Guildspace is for personal use only. Commercial or professional uses of the Service are prohibited.
  3. Substance Lab may, but are not obliged to, remove any and all content or accounts we deem to be offensive, abusive, unlawful, destructive, or in any other way objectionable or in violation of these Terms or legislation.
  4. Substance Lab reserves the right to disable or in other ways limit any account whose bandwidth usage exceeds the average bandwidth usage (as determined solely by Substance Lab) of other users of the Service.
  5. You understand and agree that Substance Lab cannot be held liable for any damages caused by your use of the Service or any other matter involving the service.
  6. You understand and agree that the contents of and communication with the Service may be transferred unencrypted and may involve transmission over different networks.
  7. Substance Lab does not warrant that (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, reliable or error-free, (b) any errors in the service will be fixed, (c) the Service will meet your specific requirements and expectations.
  8. Any failure of Substance Lab to enforce or exercise any provision of these Terms or related right shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. The section titles used in this Agreement are purely for convenience and carry with them no legal or contractual effect.
